The 2026 Aussie Equities Day brings 15 ASX-listed companies together with more than 200 investors from across the Asia Pacific, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, and the United States.

Dr Chick’s experience includes developing and obtaining FDA USA clearance for four tissue based medical devices. He has eight years’ investment banker experience and has also held a role as an analyst reviewing healthcare and biotechnology investment opportunities for private equity investors and venture capitalists. Mr Brian Leedman is a biotechnology entrepreneur having co-founded seven healthcare companies on the ASX. Digital respiratory diagnostics company, ResApp Health Limited, in which he served as the executive director, was acquired by Pfizer in 2022. Mr Leedman also served as Chairman of Neurotech International Limited, Nutritional Growth Solutions Limited, Neuroscientific Biopharmaceuticals Limited and Ausbiotech (WA). He was a Director of Alcidion Corporation Limited, Oncosil Medical Limited, Respiri Limited and a founder of Imugene Limited. Previously, he spent a decade as the vice president of investor relations at ASX, Nasdaq and Frankfurt listed, pSivida Corporation (renamed Eyepoint Therapeutics) and held senior marketing positions at Westpac Banking Corporation and Ernst & Young. Dr Kurt Sales is a pharmaceutical executive and translational scientist with more than 25 years of experience across drug discovery, preclinical development, clinical research, regulated bioanalysis, and biotechnology operations. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Myopharm Limited, where he leads operational execution and clinical development activities for the company’s metabolic and inflammatory disease pipeline, including the lead asset TriGlytza®.
Dr Sales has held senior scientific leadership roles across academia, biotechnology, and contract research organisations, including Chief Scientific Officer positions supporting first-in-human and global clinical programs. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and is internationally recognised for his expertise in inflammatory signalling, regulated bioanalysis and translational medicine.
His experience spans the full drug development continuum, from target identification through clinical trial support and regulatory strategy, with a strong focus on therapies addressing unmet needs in chronic inflammatory disease.

Peter Molloy trained as a microbiologist and biochemist and then built a successful marketing and general management career in the international pharmaceutical industry. At Faulding (Aust) he was General Manager of the Medical Products Division and then at Pharmacia (Pfizer), he was Managing Director of Australia/NZ operations and later International Vice President for Strategic Marketing. During his pharmaceutical career, he launched 23 new products and executed 40 international licensing or distribution deals. Subsequently, he was CEO of four biotech companies in US and Australia, including two ASX-listed firms. He served as CEO of antiviral drug development company, Biota Holdings Limited (ASX: BTA) from 2002 to 2005, and he was founding CEO of Race Oncology from 2016 to 2020. He founded Firebrick Pharma in 2012 and moved to full-time CEO and Chairman in 2020, taking the company public in 2022 (ASX: FRE). He is an inventor on all the Firebrick patents. He completed his PhD in biotechnology business in 2019 with the title: “Value creation and investor performance of the Australian drug development biotechnology sector”; he has published multiple papers and been an invited speaker at industry fora on the topic of value creation in the biotech sector.

Mr Williams holds both Bachelor of Arts and Law Degrees from the University of Queensland and practised as a corporate, commercial and mining lawyer with Brisbane legal firm HopgoodGanim for 17 years, with the last few of those years as an equity partner of the firm. He then worked as General Counsel to Mitsui Coal’s worldwide coal operations for several years until 2013, when he joined Chinalco Yunnan Copper Resources Limited (the precursor to AuKing Mining Limited) in 2013 as Managing Director.
Over the course of a career spanning more than 35 years, Mr Williams has developed a commercial skillset that is well established for the operation of exploration companies listed on the ASX – spanning experiences including:
- negotiation and preparation of commercial arrangements in the exploration and mining sector across five continents;
- engagement with and participation in management of exploration and mining companies – big and small;
- understanding and co-operating with the requirements of local communities and stakeholders in various jurisdictions around the world;
- overseeing the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures;
- engagement with a wide range of investors, corporate advisors and financiers, institutional firms; and
- public and investor relations activities with shareholders and the broader investment community.

Since July 2018, Kate Quirke has been the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Alcidion Group, a company dedicated to providing smart technology to the health sector. Kate leads the business globally with current focus on Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom with a goal of developing mutually beneficial relationships with customers, partners and investors. Kate has 25+ years of digital health sector experience and has been involved in large procurements and implementations of healthcare information technology across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and South-East Asia. Her background includes leading management roles at large healthcare software firms where she has driven strategic product direction. She strongly believes that the astute application of information technology will support the transformation of healthcare delivery worldwide.
Kate is a Non-Executive Director of ANDHealth and previously served on the Board of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation for 16 years. During 2021, Kate was recognised as one of Telstra Health’s inaugural Brilliant Women in Digital Health and named Biotech Daily’s CEO of the Year. In 2020, Kate won the Executive Leader award in the inaugural B&T Women Leading Tech Awards. She received her Bachelor of Applied Science Health Information Management degree from Latrobe University.

Claudia is a Managing Partner at North Star Impact Funds, an investment manager that focuses exclusively on listed companies delivering measurable social or environmental impact alongside financial returns. In FY26, the fund returned +23.4%, outperforming the ASX All Ordinaries by 17.7% and the ASX Small Industrials by 24.3%. Prior to North Star, Claudia was on the investment team at Morphic Asset Management, a global ESG Hedge fund. The alpha beta separation strategy focused on global industrials primarily in the US, Japan and Europe. The fund was subsequently acquired by Ellerston Capital.
Claudia began her career at a hedge fund in Sydney before moving back to China to work in Management Consulting. In 2007, Claudia moved to Hong Kong to work for Morgan Stanley joining the Asia Equity Research Sales team. There she covered the broader Asia Pacific region with a particular focus on Hong Kong/China and Taiwan. She was consistently ranked among the top three across both long-only and hedge fund clients. During her tenure, Morgan Stanley was consistently ranked among the top three houses in capital markets, bringing many of Asia’s largest and highest-profile companies to market, including Alibaba, AIA, Wynn Macau, and the Glencore dual listing.
